You are invited in…not as a spectator, but as someone we really want to spend time with. Make yourself at home, pull up a chair, sit back and listen as long as you like, or jump right in. This is a place to know and, when you are ready, to BE known. This is not a place of secrets…we talk about it as a family sort of place because we know we ALL have our wounds and scars…and we all have the things we have done we should have left alone, as well as the things we should have done, but copped-out on. Home is where we pretty much can expect that we are welcome in the end (thanks, James Taylor).
At PCHUM our core symbol is the “table”. Jesus invites ALL to his table. No exceptions. No limitations. The home table is where we gather and let it all hang out…the stories of the day and the expectations of tomorrow. And the meal sustains us.
