Faith Village is a Rotational Learning Model that incorporates the many ways that children learn and retain information. The same unit or Bible Story is generally our focus for 4 - 6 weeks. Each week the children experience the story in a new way by participating in a different workshop geared for their age-level, with expanding emphasis. Workshops might include: Art, Science, Games, Cinema, Computer Lab, Drama and Music, Cooking or Mission Projects.
Kindergarteners through fifth graders “travel” with 2 adult shepherds who are their support and experience the morning activities with them. We begin our morning in Bible Times Square with a mission minute, music or activity and story intro. We welcome visitors and all villagers from 10:10 to 11:20 on Sunday mornings.
Note that kindergarteners will meet with the older children for the opening and then continue in their own room for the first semester.
