Partner on the Journey!
Chapel Hill family… We have opportunities available to join with our youth. We are blessed with biblical scholars, and those that speak the language of teens. All we need to be complete is the love you have to share. Check out the bulletin board across from the office for ways you can partner in youth ministry. Please contact Jorge Costales at chumyc@aol.com for further conversation and training opportunities.
Pay It Forward
God provides abundantly!
Because of the continued gifts of service, talents and monetary support, the congregation at Chapel Hill, was able to provide partial scholarships for 40 campers and 10 youth on a mission, during the summer of 2010. Your stewardship has allowed our youth to concentrate on paying forward their gifts and talents instead of focusing on fund raising and sales. Thanks for helping our youth learn to give without the need to have immediate, personal gain!
Each youth that receives scholarship funding from Chapel Hill is required to participate in at least three acts of service throughout the year. These service opportunities are purposely diversified to serve individuals, our church home, and our local community. Examples of last year’s opportunities included, Bingo at Ministry with Community, Martha’s Table, Youth house yard clean-up, church mulch, compost repair, pastoral project and Vacation Bible School leadership.
We are always looking for opportunities to better serve our community. If you have any suggestions, please contact me at jorgecostales@pchum.org.
