time to clean house. Specifically the Youth House! Starting at 6 PM, Youth, parents and supportive adults are all invited to roll up your sleeves together. Bring a lawn chair because, at 8 PM we will all have the opportunity to experience an evening Fire Bowl Worship Service in the backyard!

“Flashlight Maze”
7 PM to 9 PM. Gull Meadow Farms now has a night maze! Walking through an eight foot corn stalk maze with only the moon and a flashlight can be a little frightening! Join together with your PCHUM friends as we tread the unknown, and realize that together we can overcome our fears. Wear shoes for wet walking. Check back for transportation details. $12 should take care of admission and some apple cider. (Scholarships are available).

Christmas Break (December 27, Youth House at 11:30 am)
“Crafts for Christmas”
If you don’t have a home, what do you do all day when school is out? We will work with The Gospel Mission to lead an afternoon of crafts with homeless children during Christmas break.
January 27
“United Methodist Conference Sledding”
Last year we had a great time sledding with other churches in the district.
This year we think adding a bit more PCHUM flavor will enhance the experience! By flavor we are talking about our “Hilltop Snack Bar”! Parchment UMC is having a “Baked Potato Bar”. Look for updated information in The Voice, on Facebook (PCHUM Youth Hapnins), and in Youth Hapnins.
February 17
“Bingo at Ministry with Community”
2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Senior High only for this event. After New Year resolutions are created many of our most vulnerable are forgotten. The Senior High youth will collect winter necessities to be given away as prizes for Bingo. Of course, everybody is a winner when we play bingo!
March 21
“WinterJam Christian Concert”
Nine contemporary Christian bands in one concert! This is a school night, so plan ahead for homework and ask your parents. Time for departure from PCHUM to be announced soon!
April 14
“Camp Sunday”
Why would you invite a friend to camp? On Camp Sunday,
we intend to further God’s kingdom by generating excitement and encouraging camp participation. We will engage the congregation of Chapel Hill with an alternative worship experience focused on expressing God’s blessings through common camp songs, worship and testimony.
May 5
“Glow Bowling”
1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Grab your white shirt and glow with us at Airways Lanes on Portage Rd. Gutter guards up or down, it is a great way to spend the afternoon with your PCHUM friends! Cost is currently $20 for two hours of bowling and games, plus food and drink. (Scholarships are available).
