Worship Life
Worship happens at Chapel Hill in groups large and small. Full community worship happens each Sunday morning at 8:00am, 9:00am and 11:30am.
8:00am – “Come to the Table” (weekly communion with prayer and message in the Chapel)
9:00am – “The Gathering” (a blended worship centered in musical variety and a full, scripture based message from the pastors…includes a special Children’s Time followed by Children’s Church for kids 3 years through 3rd grade in the Chapel!)
11:30am – “New Life” (an emerging worship experience using new forms for ancient tradition…music led by the New Life Band…a casual service for all ages)\
Child Care during the 9:00am and 11:30am services in the Little Oceaneers’ Nursery (#207) for children infant through 5 years.
Summertime has all in worship taking a Casual Stroll Through Basic Christian Beliefs! You know all those words you hear thrown around by churchy types? Words like justification and righteousness and holiness and unity and Trinity and… well, you get the point. The pastors and guest speakers will unpack a word a week so that we can get some real language and experience around the stuff we talk about and hear about all the time. This will be a great summer for newby Christians, for those sort of exploring the faith, and for those who have been around forever but sort of fake it when it comes to understanding the language of faith.
