Children in worship program
Sundays, September through May, during 9 and 11:30 am worship service.
Children 3 years old through 3rd grade are invited to the chapel following the Children’s Time during the 9:00 and 11:30 service for their very own time of worship! Every Sunday following Children’s Time, the children will follow a leader out of the sanctuary and into the Children’s Chapel (next to the nursery) where together they will sing songs, hear a message, and pray in playful and creative ways. On Communion Sundays, the children will return to the sanctuary in time to participate with their families, and the other Sundays they will return to the sanctuary following the sermon.
Parents and others called to ministry with children are welcome to join or volunteer. We need three adults each week to help the children participate in worship, and our hope is that no one need participate more than once a month unless they desire. Worship is important for parents and children, and now we have a fantastic opportunity for both groups to praise God in their own unique ways!
